Nine CEOs. One Voice

Coalition Building | PSA Development | Voter Mobilization

Timeline: 2024

The Challenge

Every election cycle, the message is the same: your vote matters. And every cycle, millions of people who know that truth still don't make it to the polls. BET Vote had a mission: turn awareness into action, and action into everyone voting.

What We Did

We didn't make ads. We built an army.

We assembled the BET Voter Coalition and then did something that had never been done before — we brought together all nine CEOs of the Divine 9, every single one, and put them on national television with one unified voice. No debate. No division. Just the most powerful collective in Black America standing shoulder to shoulder and saying: go vote.

Eighteen leaders total. Nine Divine 9 CEOs representing fraternities and sororities that have shaped Black life in this country for over a century. And alongside them, the next generation — Myles Hollingsworth, Christian Matthew, Jerome Richardson, Marley Dias, Chelsea Miller, L. Joy Williams, Demetrius Causer, Arnold Ludd, and Jared Evans — young leaders who didn't wait for an invitation to the table. They showed up and spoke up.

Eleven custom PSAs. Multiple formats. National television and social media. Every version crafted to cut through the noise and land where it mattered most — in the hearts of people who needed to see someone who looked like them say: this is our moment.

Because voting isn't just a right. It's a reckoning. And we made sure the world knew it.

The Results

For the first time in history, all nine Divine 9 CEOs appeared together on national television — one voice, one mission, no precedent. Eighteen leaders mobilized in total: the heads of fraternities and sororities that have shaped Black America for over a century, standing alongside nine next-generation voices who didn't wait for permission to lead.

Eleven custom PSAs went live across national television and social media, reaching people where they actually are.

Let's Build the Coalition That Shows Up.

BET didn't just ask people to vote. They united the most powerful collective in Black America and gave the next generation a seat at the table. If your organization is ready to move past awareness and into history, let's talk.
